The New Yorker just published a deep dive on Oregon’s Measure 110, and drug decriminalization.
I’ve barely started reading it yet, but it seems tragically committed to the race horse theory (Who’s Winning?).
I fear I have been Big-footed. In journalism, this means the big players just arrived and stepped all over your local toes. Theoretically, this new article could eclipse my own reporting on the subject, and the proposals I have out now will be sent back with lines like, “But the New Yorker said…”.
